What is a werewolf?
|
|
A werewolf is a mystical being which has the power to change between an animal form and a human form (aspect).
They typicaly have behavioural aspects of their animal form ie: werewolves are pack animals, werecats are solitary hunters and so forth.

What is a garou?
|
|
A Garou is a werewolf.
|
|
Do garou have the same mystic weaknesses as they do in most books?
|
|
Some. They are alergic to silver, it affects their healing process. They are affected by the full moon, but that's not the only time thay change
into a werewolf. It tends to agitate them, make them edgy. Both of these are due to the fact that Luna created the garou to help gaia defend herself.

What powers do garou have?
|
|
Garou all have the power to change aspect at will, and when unconcious (not sleeping) they will revert to their birth aspect. Alison has a wolf birth aspect by the way, just in case you wanted to know.
Garou typicaly have magic abilities, usualy shamanic in nature and usualy in a healing fasion. Garou have the ability to speak with the earth, not all that usefull for most garou, but they can find water
and certain types of minerals, caves, faults. More useful is their ability to find toxins and polutants, which cause Gaia pain.

What is Stefan?
|
|
Stefan is a vampire. He is also the high priest of the goddess of death.
|

What are a vampires powers/weakness
|
|
Vampires are hunters. They are adept at hunting their prey (humans). They can change forms at will, they can see in the dark, they can heal a humans wounds, they are exceptionaly strong, and they are imortal.
As far as weakness goes, they can't stand sunlight. Their night vision comes from certain frequencies of light and radiation which is mild enough at night to see by, but blinds and causes pain in sunlight. They
can be killed if their body is destroyed. Stakes and removing the head are just inconvienences.
HOWEVER
Most vampires dont have knowledge of all this. It's not inate to know your own weakness. The popular myths are so ingrained into vampires that most can't stand water especialy moving water, Garlic and religious artifacts
DO have an affect on them, removing their head and stakes in hte heart may kill them, as will sunlight. This is because vampires are spirits bound to a dead body, they use the blood they drink to feed the organic bodies, and the
spiritual energy to do things, like stay atached to the body. If a vampire thinks its dead, I mean realy thinks its dead, the spirit can be rended from the body, and the vampire "dies". remembr this is all psychological, so telling
a vampire that sunlight wont kill him, doesn't realy help. Very few vampires can overcome their inate fears, and inbred psychological states of being.

What is that knife like thing that Alison has?
|
|
Its a klaive. Its like a magical weapon of the garou, wich has a spirit bound in it. Usualy its a war spirit, but not in alison's klaive.
A klaive is a special weapon of honor, a cross between a religious artifact and a family heirloom. Typicaly they cause wounds which do not heal properly,
in the case of a werewolf, it would be the same as using a silver weapon. Some kaives also have other special powers, like causing the wounds to fester,
or to cause burning of the target, and the like.

Whats in the big box Stefan gave Alison?
|
|
None of your business! Actualy it is a heavily modified M-24 rifle. The Basic M-24 is the bolt action .308 rifle used by marine snipers in the US armed forces. As a basic non-custom built
rifle it is one of the better ones in the world. The M-24 is supposed to be accurate up to 1000 meters (i think) and comes equiped with a 10x unertl scope. The rest is all just quality stuff...
